April Workday Cancelled

Kerrville, TX - March 16, 2020. Out of an abundance of caution and in alignment with recommendations from the CDC, the Executive Committee and I have elected to cancel the April Workday at TLC due to Covid-19. As of this morning, the April workday had close to 550 caring people registered to attend. This particular weekend also had the distinction of being sponsored by Ken Stoepel Ford with the aim of bringing additional visitors from Kerrville to the Campus. That event has also been postponed for the safety of all concerned. The May workday, scheduled for May 2, 2020 will remain on the calendar, but will be closely monitored and a determination made not later than two weeks prior for that event.

It would be normal following this course of action for many to wonder about the fallout and TLC's capacity to be ready to receive children this summer. Please rest assured that the staff and I will put safety first and will do whatever called upon to be ready, in-season and out.

Look out for others and stay tuned, stay calm, stay put and stay well.
